Topic & Goal of Workshop

Topic: Journal development by scholarly societies

Goal: Most scholarly journals from Asia have been published by academic societies. Since the editors or publishers of academic societies are not full-time job, and the editors are changed frequently, it is difficult to edit journals professionally. How to overcome this difficulty is a major task of the editors in Asia. In this workshop, the strategy of the journal development and the new international standard of scholarly journals provided by CrossRef will be presented.
